Accounts Analyst: This position is responsible for providing tactical support to the National Accounts team by analyzing and interpreting the data and processes to provide creative solutions that impact the national account book of business. THIS POSITION IS CONSIDERED A HYBRID ROLE: Candidate may reside in the following states: Phoenix, AZ 85018 or Chino, CA 91710

Accounts Analyst Essential Functions:

  • Provide support and oversight of items like: PCM/Vendor Dart for Lowes and IDM/Vendor Drill for Home Depot; maintenance and updates in the sites in connection with Capital Lumber, SKUs, product set up, images and ensuring links are working properly
  • Process and analyze data extraction and provide in a format that can be utilized by account managers to make informed business decisions
  • Gather data reports from other key national customer portals/different parts of company and consolidate data to ensure easy access to customer and Capital Lumber
  • Provide monthly sales reports to suppliers and account managers to make informed business decisions
  • Work within internal systems like EDI/Agility/Looker access systems and ensure operating correctly and fix any linkage issues that may occur, investigate root cause and resolve
  • Effectively run sales and margin analysis from systems and ensure output meets business needs
  • Agility maintenance- Develop and implement reliable inventory reports to provide branch management insight and forecasts
  • Resolve product ID issues with special orders and work closely with branch personnel to provide solutions
  • Investigate and resolve potential system errors that may cause accounts receivable or other IT issues
  • Lead projects that impact National Accounts team regarding internal/external systems, data and process management
  • Partner with key customers and business partners to identify and develop business requirements and other process documentation to be used for system enhancements and problem remediation in data
  • Work in conjunction with AR Department on some tasks that pertain to the National Account book of business
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.


Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant work experience with a verifiable High School diploma/GED required
  • Minimum 3 plus years Business Analyst or related experience
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative business relationships with clients; multi-site environment is preferred
  • High level of confidentially with sensitive information
  • Strong working knowledge of business and corporate policies and procedures
  • Ability to model the Capital values and to provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to drive and be accountable for results in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to anticipate, analyze, and prioritize complex problems including:

* Ability to present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in written format

* Strong listening and resolution skills

  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and computer systems technology
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). SharePoint plus Project Enterprise and Agility
  • Must be able to travel occasionally
