SUMMER MARKETING INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY!

Position Summary: Current student or inexperienced grad looking to gain real-life practical experience in the Marketing field with a growing company. This is a part-time position with a hybrid remote schedule.

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables
Under the direction of Corporate Staff and guidance of the Corporate Marketing Specialist;

• Perform various Marketing responsibilities, including e-mail campaigns, advertising, social media, trade show materials, marketing promotions, client communications, product public relations and market/marketing research
• Assist in creating internal marketing promotions for HR ie: benefits e-mail campaigns, benefit flyers, etc.
• Revamp internal marketing materials ie: branding book
• Assist in the creation of internal and external company documents and marketing promotions
• Maintain and create quality messages on social media profiles
• Live presentation recapping the intern experience to Capital leadership at close of program
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment

Education / Experience and Skills

• Ability to model Capital values and to provide innovative solutions
• Ability to drive and be accountable for results in a fast-paced environment
• Current College Junior/Senior level pursuing bachelor’s degree (or grad looking for first level of experience), or newly graduated with degree
• Excellent demonstrated verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

Abilities

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 5% or less of the workday
• Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
• Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
• Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday
